What if you could take control of the things you dream about? in the imaginative confines of your dream thoughts, you may be able to fly like a superman or fight in a galactic war. being aware of what you are dreaming about is called "Lucid Dreaming" and scientists are studying how we can use this fascinating phenomenon to our advantage. but first we should make it reliably manifest. In 2017, an Australian research team took a big step in this direction and found a way to allow us to have lucid dreams. Say no to plagiarism. When primary lucid dreaming was confirmed in 1975, researchers discovered an increasing number of ways to achieve them and how they could help the dreamer. Research says lucid dreaming can relieve nightmares, it can also be used to practice hidden skills and uncover the mysteries of consciousness itself. To confirm this, researchers at the College of Adelaide in Australia recruited 169 people to test three lucid dreaming methods. those covered: Reality testing: participants were advised to ask themselves “am I dreaming?” 10 times all day, every day. each time, they needed to observe their surroundings to see if there was anything out of the ordinary and perform a reality check by breathing in through their closed mouth. (While you're dreaming, you might inhale through your closed mouth because the real you probably has your mouth open.) Wake up to go back to bed: Participants set an alarm to wake them after 5 hours of sleep, then examine a seven hundred-record words about what do if you have a lucid dream. (it is said that when a factual test presents itself, they must "stabilize the dream by vigorously rubbing the palms of their arms and concentrating on the physical sensations while repeating 'that is a lucid dream'"). then, they were asked to go back to sleep. lucid dreams occur during the duration of REM sleep, and REM sleep can occur effortlessly after you have already been asleep for a while. Mnemonic induction of lucid dreams: While lying in bed to sleep, members were asked to copy the sentence "next time I'm dreaming, I can understand that I'm dreaming." they had to pay close attention to the word so that it became the other thing they were thinking about once they fell asleep. Rather than using each of these techniques individually, the observation involved one group using the simplest reality test, one group using both reality testing and Wake Back to Bed, and the last group using all 3: participants they used the Lucid Dreams memory induction to go back to sleep after the five-hour alarm went off to go back to bed. Additionally, participants were asked to simply record the dreams they had over a one-week period before practicing the assigned methods in the second week. A dream is a wish that your mind makes that the three companies had extremely extraordinary effects as they arrived at their wishes. in the first week – the week they didn't use any lucid dreaming techniques – individuals said that about 8% of their desires were lucid. In the second week, the more practical fact-testing institution actually had slightly fewer lucid goals, while lucid goals achieved through reality testing and ingenuity organizing increased slightly to 11%. but what about the group that used all three techniques? just over 17%.
