Topic > My father's influence on my love for sports

I have been fortunate to have both parents in my life, but I believe my father has been the most influential person in my life. I think he has been able to guide me in my life in the best way possible. My father used his intelligence and wisdom to guide me in my school life. It helped me learn what has become one of my favorite hobbies in being involved in sports. It started with football and from there I moved on to basketball and discovered my love for the sport. Even though I don't play basketball anymore, I love watching Carolina play with my dad and the Carolina-Duke game is almost as big as the Super Bowl. My father helped me understand what it meant to be a man. She taught me to always keep doors open for women and to let others go before me. One of the biggest lessons he taught me is that I'm third. God always comes first and others second. I should be the last person I worry about. My father constantly reminds me that I shouldn't burn ties. Every time he goes out, he seems to find an old childhood friend and together they reminisce about the good times they had. When I get older I want to be able to have those friends to talk to about how things were in the past as we describe our childhood antics. All of these qualities make up the person I admire in my father. Say no to plagiarism. Get a tailor-made essay on "Why Violent Video Games Shouldn't Be Banned"? Get an original essay
