Topic > The broad definition of the concept of personality in behaviorism

Personality is a broad term that is used to refer to a set of behaviors and emotions that evolve biologically or through the environment; it is a product of motivation and interaction with the situation. Raymond Cattell defines personality as traits that predict a person's behavior. Therefore, a character can be used to refer to individual behavioral traits acquired through learning. Personality psychology explains the disparities in conduct between individuals. Furthermore, different individuals have different levels of understanding, thinking, and feeling, as well as sociability (Gordon 44). The significant five assessment was used to test people's personality based on five important dimensions which are: openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness and neuroticism (Gebauer, JE and et.al.77). In this article I will describe the nature of my personality based on the results obtained using the five dimensions. Say no to plagiarism. On all occasions, my thinking is abstract and complex. Transparency in me contributed to my large-scale connection of theoretical concepts in nature. I like to appreciate artistic ideas in general. On several occasions I have been at the forefront of creative imagination; I am at the epicenter of my colleagues' consultation on matters of creativity. At a science fair held in my elementary school days, our science club that I headed at the time was rewarded for its creativity. Once again, the trait is helping me explore my scientific career. Additionally, arts and science have never escaped my daily activities. During my free time, I usually engage in cultural activities such as dancing and artistic drawing which are among my favorites. I scored high on Extraversion, about 69% of the test score. I totally agree with this character. Personally, I grew up in an environment that offers me various opportunities for understanding and challenges. Despite this, I have always placed my trust in the environment to find solutions to these problems. Also, making friends, seeking power and admiration are my hobbies. For example, on one particular occasion when my family and I had to move from our original residence, I felt alone because I was about to lose my friends. However, I didn't know this was a temporary feeling? On the same day of the change of residence I managed to acquire new friends indicating that I have a friendly nature. On the other hand, setting goals for my future life has never moved away from the real me. I am always ambitious because I believe that the answers to my problems are within the environment. Agreeableness is another trait domain that I strongly possess; I got high marks on this one because this is a character I adore. I was always raised without the word “I” because when it is used it brings out the sense of self. I also tend to believe in putting the needs of others first, which automatically qualifies me as a kind and compassionate person. Again, on one particular occasion, I remember assisting my friend with the only pen I had to use during an exam while I had to borrow one from a friend to write during an exam. On the other hand, the people who always blame me finally turned out to be great friends with whom we have made an everlasting friendship to this day. Please note: this is just an example..
