Privilege is everywhere, observable, and, as the world is, unavoidable. You will see the “benefits” in Donald Trump, the consequences in a Planned Parenthood. With human nature it is inevitable that someone will see someone who appears different and start a conflict, which will end with a winner who then naturally declares himself better, or that someone will gain some advantage and do everything in his power to maintain and/or increase this advantage. Heterosexual privilege is generally not something many people think about. Since I am personally not heterosexual, I am very aware of what this entails.
