I went to CalArts Winter Dance 2019 and watched the dance festival unfold, however; the one that struck me was The Nutcracker, choreographed by Salwa Rizkalla. He presents The Nutcracker annually in Irvine and promoted it during the show. The Nutcracker is a ballet show and represents a more classical moment in dance.
