Topic > Personal reflection on my research and writing experience

During my time in college, I took a series of writing courses that significantly improved my research and writing skills. At first, coming up with a college assignment on my own seemed like a daunting task since I struggled with compositions and other types of writing during my high school years. However, in my first college writing course, I learned basic writing skills, such as using a large vocabulary, constructing complete sentences, and creating well-organized paragraphs, each consisting of a topic sentence and from a single idea of control. By drawing from these foundations of writing, coming up with college-level writing no longer intimidates me as over time I have found myself enjoying my writing. As I reflect on the various writing courses I have taken so far, I have learned a wide range of advanced writing aspects, such as the need for an outline, the various factors to take into consideration when choosing a title for my article, how to construct a complete thesis statement, the use of transitions, and listening to myself while proofreading my papers. Say no to plagiarism. Get a tailor-made essay on "Why Violent Video Games Shouldn't Be Banned"? Get an Original Essay Whether one is an academic, an artist, or a parent, it is my belief that everyone carries out research in their everyday lives. When my parents, instructor, or workplace supervisor ask me a question I don't know the answer to, I do some quick research on the Internet or by asking my friends and analyze my findings before sharing them with interested individuals. Research constitutes this act of identifying, analyzing and presenting or sharing the results to interested people. When you conduct research, you are essentially trying to solve an existing mystery, to identify why something happened or how something works. In my career as a business administrator profession, I expect to regularly conduct research on various areas such as market trends, consumer behaviors, possible technological integration and changing external environment. Reflecting on my past research projects, including In the one I did last semester in the HUM101 class, I learned that there are a few steps you need to follow to come up with a research paper. To begin with, you need to choose a topic based on the prompt or search question used. To choose the most appropriate topic for my research projects, I engage in brainstorming and listing some useful keywords that I later put together for a targeted research topic and title. Once I have my research topic ready, I take the time to plan the entire research and writing process to ensure I don't get caught up in time and overwhelmed by all the work I need to do once the deadline passes for the research paper begins. In conducting the actual research, I use various sources, ranging from books, magazines, and personal interviews to gather the necessary information. Once this research is complete, I organize my findings and the sources used in my article. With the results ready, my attention turns to preparing my research outline, incorporating the research material used, carefully discussing these sources in relation to my research objective. In the final stage of my research and writing process, I revise and refine my article, ensuring that there are no grammatical errors, that the article is formatted in the best way, and that every element of the article flows into.
