The book Night really entertained me, so writing about it was a breeze. After writing my first article, I wanted to make sure I fixed all the mistakes I made in the first one, so that was my goal for the articles to come. I would say the hardest article to write was the literary analysis article. First of all we had to read Shakespeare's Hamlet. It was a very difficult work to read. I have always found it difficult to make sense of what Shakespeare says in his plays. We first had to read the play and then analyze what we think Shakespeare was trying to tell us in his play. To better understand the play, I had to do a lot of research on Hamlet. I read many articles and consulted databases that provided good information on Shakespeare's writing styles. It was challenging to make this five page long article because I couldn't think of anything else to say on the topic! However, this essay really gave me insight into Shakespeare's writing. This course has taught me so many helpful writing tips. I learned so much and feel like I became a better writer after taking this course. I came into this class with many weaknesses, but with the help of Mrs. Miller and the books in this course they disappeared.
