They then compared how their study and US studies varied, in their study they showed that there was no association between multiple employment and higher levels of depression among spouses. However, the US results found a correlation between multiple implementations and higher levels of depression among spouses. They found that the health of the parent at home showed greater predictability than the children's overall health. Their study showed that among children whose parents deployed multiple times there were more behavioral problems. In conclusion, the researchers' study showed greater resilience among those military families who experienced multiple deployments compared to those who experienced only one.
