Weapons are necessary. The main purpose is protection. People think that by banning guns, Americans will be safer. This however is not true. Criminals obtain their guns through illegal methods, so it would be difficult to confiscate all the guns. If the guns were taken away, most Americans would likely turn against their government. Some people want to ban guns because they are used in crimes. But guns don't commit the same crime that people do. Guns have always been and always will be a form of protection. A gun is the easiest way to keep the peace. Nothing scares someone more than knowing they might die. There are few people who are not afraid of guns. When the weapons are in the hands of the right people, peace will be maintained and there will be no problems. If the weapon is in the hands of the wrong person there is danger. The best way to stop the wrong person with a gun is a good person with a gun. That's why the Americans hid the carry. Concealed carry is an American privilege. It allows Americans to secretly carry a gun for protection. To obtain a concealed carry permit you must take and pass a course. In this course people are educated about gun safety and how to use them properly. Concealed carry is one of the greatest privileges you can have. It is used to save lives. Many Americans have used concealed carry to save themselves and others. One case where concealed carry saved a life occurred on March 15 last year. A former Marine who had recently acquired a concealed carry permit was returning home from work early in the morning. While driving he saw a man brutally hit and kick a woman.
