Why I want to be a teacher School is an important part of our young life. It's where we spend most of our time as kids. Children begin to develop relationships with people who have not been separated from their childhood. For someone who doesn't enjoy school, this could put a damper on relationships with others and learning outcomes in life. This is why I want to become a teacher. I want to develop a learning atmosphere where children feel joy and security. I believe having fun and feeling like you belong is an important part of education. Yes, I used the word that makes some cringe when heard, education. Education is often seen as an institution that children are forced into by the government. Even though education benefits the child, it is not seen that way through the eyes of the child who doesn't like school. Some parents find it difficult to send their children because they believe that their children should be allowed to play and be free from worries. Children should be allowed to play for a while before facing the realities of life and responsibility. A good teacher demonstrates that education is more than learning subjects and facts. Education is about developing character, understanding how to handle life's small obstacles, and learning to communicate with peers and others who come into our lives. The learning must be provided in such a way that the child does not realize that he is being forced to attend. The child should contain the desire to go. While being entertained through games, the child is not aware that he is learning skills such as sharing, taking turns and crucial criteria for future learning. I feel like it takes a special person to teach and realize where the lesson left off was an impressionable role model for me. I knew this teacher cared if we learned because they took time to teach. I knew this teacher wouldn't lose the paper I'd been working on all week. My classmates and colleagues made fun of my organizational skills, but I'm proud to say that I learned organizational skills in school and it has helped me every day of my life. I want to become a teacher because education is an important step in life. Teachers are the people who are role models for young America. They help society maintain order and continue development. Teachers have the opportunity to change and impact a life. To make a difference they can look back. As I further my education, I see the importance of a well-organized classroom and teacher. This is the backbone of a successful classroom.
