There are people who want to end their addiction and there are people who don't want to end their addiction. The American people should not try to help people who don't want help because they would be forced to ask for help or forced to go to a treatment center. When someone leaves the treatment center they can return to drugs again. So, it's their choice and the American people's time and money wasted. People who die from opioid addiction are also people who disobeyed the law by illegally purchasing the drug and put themselves at risk
