Students who frequently engage in off-task and inappropriate behaviors disrupt the classroom and hinder other students' learning (Riley, et.al, 2011). In order to reduce off-task behaviors exhibited by a particular student, it is critical to determine the function of the behavior by conducting a functional behavioral assessment (FBA). Once the cause of the behavior is identified, teachers can take steps to reduce inappropriate behavior by implanting strategies to reduce its occurrence. This article examined the effectiveness of time-limited teacher attention to increase the on-task behavior of 2 students in one study. general education classroom. During the baseline phase, the teacher's attention was given normally and no changes were made.
