Sinai for forty days and forty nights. God gave Moses tools and guidelines for the Israeli people. However, the Jewish people of Israel were becoming impatient and began to disobey the laws created by God. God became angry and Moses prayed to the Lord to forgive the people. Because of Moses' cries, God gives the people the opportunity to change their bad choices. Yet they eventually remembered where they began, like the slaves in Egypt, ending up taking with them the tabernacle they had built for God.
