My colleagues used words like “thoughtful,” “inclusive,” “motivational,” “positive,” “thoughtful,” and “open-minded” when describing my leadership traits during the challenge. I feel reassured knowing that my peers have noticed many of the same habits and qualities within me that I have realized within myself. Of the nine cards I received, three recognized and noted my reflective habit. These people appreciated that I began the challenge with a reflection exercise and my ability to continuously evaluate each situation presented. Three other beige cards commented on the habit of motivational leadership. These people spoke of my ability to stay positive, lead with a smile, and my strength to include everyone. The remaining three cards commented that I was prudent, intentionally committed, and courageous. These people also mentioned my being inclusive of everyone, my initiative and my trust in the group. I was a little surprised that three members of the group commented on my motivational habit. In light of the weather and the early morning challenge, I didn't realize I was motivating. I felt encouraged knowing that my peers saw me as a motivator even though I didn't see myself that way
