Just like any other belief or assumption, the leader can pay particular attention to aspects of the entire organization to support the message that change is necessary and possible. The leader can find ways to include discussion of the change with subordinates and consistently highlight where and how the change will improve the organization. Additionally, the leader can highlight shortcomings and reiterate how the change will specifically relate to improvements in the daily work environment. Paying attention to the aspects that will support the change in the psychological climate and increase the organization's overall readiness for change will allow the leader to obtain essential consensus from the individuals who will actually have to change their attitude.
