This can be avoided by simply checking that you have all the information needed to advise the patient about the medicine and, if not, using the appropriate sources to find the relevant information. In this way the conversation will flow more fluidly and the patient will feel more reassured by my confidence. In the future, for a patient like this, I will also try to take care of the patient's health as a whole and suggest that they undergo all necessary vaccinations and prepare a necessary medical kit before going abroad, to ultimately ensure health of the patient. at best
