Anti-vaccination movements have started to gain momentum and have a growing number of supporters. This is harmful to society because it will cause increasing numbers of unvaccinated children to endanger communities. According to a commentary entitled “Debate on public health, science and politics: being right is not enough,” the author observes, distrust in science, however, has compromised the possibility of deriving sound politics from such debates” (Camargo 232) .
