In my house, my sister and I had responsibilities. We've done all our homework. This is something my father enforced. My mom would have liked it if everyone had chores, but my dad was the man of the house and pretty much made all the rules, my mom wasn't really included. Growing up like this made me understand that I would always have different standards than my brothers. My brothers would go out with friends and come home late at night while my older sister could never do that. Even going out with friends during the day was impossible. My brothers were allowed to have a girlfriend, but my parents didn't even allow my older sister to have male friends. I was young at the time, so this didn't affect me much, but it affected my sisters' society
