Peer pressure is a real thing that happens, but I don't think it happens the way it is shown in movies. Our peers pressure us to have the right clothes and shoes to wear, but I've never had anyone push me to do something I don't want to. Nowadays bullying is more of a verbal problem. I feel like when my parents went to school it was more of a "Give me lunch money or I'll put you in a locker" kind of bullying. Now he is more verbal and tries to hurt people on the inside. The other day me and another student were just talking, then she signed to me in sign language and I said "I'll just be the biggest person here" and she responded with "Yes, but not prettiest" . Why he had to say that, I have no idea, but I just tell myself "If this is what helps you sleep at night, then so be it." Voices are also an important thing. In seventh grade, a girl started this rumor about Kayla and me, and then asked us if it was true after spreading it around school.
