Have you ever thought you could trust someone with a very sensitive subject, but they end up betraying your trust? This shows that you need to be careful who you are loyal to and where you place your trust. This theme is shown in great detail in the book Animal Farm, by George Orwell. Animal Farm, a fairy tale about communism, tells the story of some mistreated farm animals who rebel against their owner, Mr. Jones, and take control of the farm. Squealer, a persuasive pig, Napoleon's right-hand "pig" (the pig behind all that is corrupt on the farm), with his ability to distort the truth and convince the animals that many crimes actually committed were "false and untruthful,” shows that it is important to remember to place your trust in the right people. The evidence of Squealer's lies and untrustworthiness will be shown in the following paragraphs.
