One of the biggest things that changed me was when my mother got sick because I realized how important life is. Also I met people from other countries, this made me understand that in a good friendship it doesn't matter how long you know that person but what you spent with that friend you had, you will always have and meet good and bad friends in your life . I know one of my biggest problems was learning English, but I learned to speak up and finally not be shy about what others might think and say about me. Leaving my friends wasn't easy, but every time I go to visit my family in Peru, I will see them and share with them everything that is happening in my life and I know that at first it was difficult to miss my family, but now I can talk to them via FaceTime every day without losing them like I used to. I had the opportunity to go and live in a different country and learn, explore something new that few others can't do, this made me realize how lucky I was and see how life was and also it wasn't because I was united says which was because I was getting older and maturing to really understand how life works
