I found out I have 3 broken toes, 1 dislocated toe, and 5 fractures in my foot. So they had to give me emergency surgery, which was so scary because I had never had surgery before. I was saying hello to everyone and getting hugs and when Eric hugged me he said, "I'm so sorry this happened to you, it's all my fault." and hearing that broke my heart. As I told him "You are my hero, you saved my life, it's not your fault". As they pushed me away I cried thinking of all the good and bad things that could or will happen. About 2 hours passed and I finally woke up from surgery and was in a recovery room still having tests done on me. About 15 minutes later they took me to my room where my family was because they were all happy to see me, as they hugged me I realized that Eric still had a sad and worried look on his face. So I told my brother you are my hero, you saved my life, you are both here and everything is fine. When I got the phone, I got a lot more text messages from everyone I didn't like or weren't my friends and some family members. As I read them I thought to myself, why do I think they hate me or why I don't like them when they are here for me.
