Before leaving for college, I often remember the good times spent with my friends and family. Whether it's spending countless hours on the boat with my dad or sleeping on the beach with my best friends. When I watch the waves crash on the beach and the boats go by, it makes me appreciate the everlasting bonds I made on that island. I have learned over the years that my place is more than a place where I can mentally reset, but it is a place that has led me to lasting relationships with
