I will be able to watch what I say and how I treat people and make sure I don't use double standards. This article has presented examples of double standards that can be seen in the workplace. After reading this, I can be more aware of these examples and possibly correct them if I see any of them happening in the future workplace I end up in. Simply being aware of these differences can help make women and men more equal in the workplace. One thing this reading brought to my attention that I didn't know before is that these double standards are still happening. This country has made great progress in women's rights over the years, and I didn't know these double standards still existed in the workplace. In my experience, I have never heard of anything like this happening in my 5 years of working. I didn't know this was still a serious problem for women.
