IntroductionSocialization is a process that children and adults acquire from others, such as culture. Society always thinks that socialization is part of nature, but this is wrong. It's actually a question of education. People develop throughout their lives in a process of social learning. Early childhood is the most important period in socialization as it is the first time children learn the knowledge of our culture. In the 20th and 21st centuries, our culture and daily life are influenced by mass media. In this new atmosphere, television (TV), computer network, movies, these types of media have become the central roles in children's daily lives. The media has become one of the most important ways to obtain information. These programs usually involve violent and sexual elements. “The study showed that over 60% of programs contain violence, and about 40% contain heavy violence. “(1) For example, Game Master (心戰) and When the Sky Burns (天與地) from TVB. It has a destructive effect on the public, especially on the growth behavior of children. Analysis (Figure 1 Average hour of weekly television viewing by children from Ofcom) TV is a social medium that provides impersonal communication to the public. Nowadays, many children are introduced to the world of TV very early. They spend a lot of time in front of the TV every day and average viewing increases every year, especially for children aged 4 to 9. This shows that TV is part of the activity in their life. The children spent an average of 3 to 4 hours a day watching television. (2) “ One study found that 32% of children between the ages of 2 and 7 and 65% of children between the ages of 8 and 18 have a television in their bedroom. “(3) According to the table and… in the center of the paper… there is more knowledge to distinguish the information they receive. As a result, education level may influence students' choice of program. Apart from that, school can expand children's social network to meet different people. Children tend to learn from the teacher and play with a group, they will communicate and gain confidence through interaction with others. Conclusion In my opinion, televisions play a vital role in the socialization process. The data shows that television can directly affect children since they are still in the undergrowth. Furthermore, they could have long-term influence from different varieties of programs. While violent and sexual shows will influence viewers, I don't think they have the same reach for everyone. It is because there are other reasons that can influence the socialization process, such as parents and school which I talked about before.
