Early childhood is the most important period in socialization as it is the first time children learn the knowledge of our culture. In the 20th and 21st centuries, our culture and daily life are influenced by mass media. In this new atmosphere, television (TV), computer network, movies, these types of media have become the central roles in children's daily lives. The media has become one of the most important ways to obtain information. They spend a lot of time in front of the TV every day and average viewing increases every year, especially for children aged 4 to 9. This shows that TV is part of the activity in their life. The children spent an average of 3 to 4 hours a day watching television. Conclusion In my opinion, televisions play a vital role in the socialization process. The data shows that television can directly affect children since they are still in the undergrowth. Furthermore, they could have long-term influence from different varieties of programs. While violent and sexual shows will influence viewers, I don't think they have the same reach for everyone. It is because there are other reasons that can influence the socialization process, such as parents and school which I talked about before.
