Even though Steve Jobs dropped out of college, took acid, and was fired from his own company, he still managed to transform the technological world as we know it. He invented the iPod GUI and was responsible for most of the design of products such as the iMac, iPhone, and iPod. His father was Syrian and his mother's name was Joanne Simpson. His parents were unable to care for him, so Jobs was given up for adoption. Paul and Clara Jobs adopted him and took him into their family. Jobs was very bored at school, so to entertain himself he would play pranks.
