=In the midst of today's fast-paced world, each person rotates with time and different settings. Different thoughts, cultures, backgrounds and religious views shape the mind. An individual's thinking is strongly reflected by his upbringing and lifestyle. Guidance and mentorship can significantly improve one's life directly or indirectly. In the 1900s, individuals of different races and skin colors had different experiences in their lives. Some had a better chance while others suffered; doing their best to change it or dealing with it in the least painful way possible. But evidently it was African Americans who endured the terrible time and were treated based on the color of their skin. Racism was very evident throughout the book “The Bluest Eye”. It is based on the explanation of racism and struggles through the literary works of Toni Morrison. In this article, I will critically analyze and bring parallels from another Sigmund Freud text “Psychoanalysis” and connect them with several themes of the novel which focuses on race, gender, sexuality, abuse, socio-economic status and the story of how it reflects the character. Racism is a social construct; it can be learned and internalized. In Toni Morrison's book, with the help of multiple narratives, we find more aspects of racism such as inter- and intraracial racism, discrimination of whites against blacks, lighter blacks against dark blacks, and black males against black females . The book “The Bluest Eye” provides an extensive description of the way white beauty standards destroy the lives of black girls and women. The message that white is superior is everywhere, as in the little white doll given to Claudia, in the id lenses...... in the center of paper......d. Although each story has its own meaning that explains different aspects of life, Claudia's story, in particular, stands out for its affirmative force. First, he tells Pecola's story, and although he questions its accuracy and meaning, to some extent his attention and care redeem the ugliness of Pecola's life. The novel “The Bluest Eye” by Toni Morrison and the text “Psychoanalysis” by Sigmund Freud have a lot of correlation. Freud's text is used to exemplify the different aspects of the Ego, the Id, the Superego. It is used to show the relationship that the characters have in the book with the different concepts expressed by Freud. The conscious and the unconscious play an important role in Toni Morrison's novel. I think that the use of Freud's text breaks down the novel, gives denotative meaning and brings to light the meaning of the book.
