The only difference was that I started my sophomore year as a Wayne County Cardinal, because the school I had previously attended had closed at the end of my freshman year. We merged with our rival school, and so everyone from my school of Monticello Independent entered their sophomore year awkwardly and uncomfortably. The new school was at least five times larger, so even kids who already had friends in Wayne County were left alone for some lessons. At that point in my life I had several friends, but only one that I hung out with after school or after
