The assassination of President John F. Kennedy was one of the greatest shocks to the nation and had a profound impact on all subsequent presidencies. The assassination is very often a topic of discussion because there are thousands of theories about who exactly killed JFK. The prime suspect in the JFK assassination, Lee Harvey Oswald, was killed a few days after the assassination of Jack Ruby. That said, there was never a trial for Oswald. After the assassination, subsequent President Lyndon B. Johnson established the Warren Commission to investigate the assassination. The Warren Commission concluded that Oswald actually killed the president and acted alone. Many Americans do not believe in the Warren Commission's conclusion for the sole reason because of all the different possibilities and evidence leading in different directions. There is clear evidence for and against Oswald's killing of JFK. I believe Oswald actually killed JFK and would have presented this evidence at trial. The first piece of evidence to be submitted to the trial is the Zapruder film. This film captures the moments before, during and after the assassination. Since the actual assassination was captured on film, this makes the evidence relevant and material to the case. I would put Mr. Zapruder on the witness stand to present this evidence and as a lay witness. He would be asked where he was, what he had witnessed that day, the type of camera he had used and how the evidence had been transported and never tampered with in any way. Other witnesses would confirm by saying that this is how the scene looked on the day of the assassination. The evidence could be challenged on the grounds that it is too gruesome and will stick in the jury's mind and cause an unfair tr... middle of paper... I thought it would be necessary to do a little in and out, but the skull bones are sufficient to deform the end of this projectile causing it to consume a lot of energy and blow off the side of the skull or explode fragments of the skull." Concluding that the C2766 rifle could have caused the damage inflicted on the president's head. To conclude , it is clear beyond any reasonable doubt that Lee Harvey Oswald committed the unlawful killing of another human being with premeditation, despite all the indications that the American people want to point to as evidence it is clear that Mr. Oswald is the killer, with the ballistics evidence, the Zapruder film, eyewitness accounts, and a man who was perhaps the closest man to Oswald's personal life. All the evidence presented to the court is more than conclusive for the assassin of President John F. Kennedy on November 22nd 1963.
