A human being blossoms to be successful in life, a human being blossoms to get to a point where we can look at life and remember all the moments we have lived, a blossoms to be someone , great, and we strive to achieve this with our own abilities. In the future Frankenstein wants to be successful. Looking at your life without regrets is a difficult task to accomplish. The characters mentioned are all different but have the same purpose: to try to succeed. The main character of Frankenstein and Death of a Salesman captures similar qualities; wanting to succeed in life, having the same relationship with another key figure in the plot, and possessing the qualities of a tragic hero. Victor Frankenstein lives a fantastic childhood in Switzerland, Victor Frankenstein lives a perfect childhood in Switzerland; surrounded by a loving family and accompanied by his cousin Elisabetta. Victor is interested in all the books he reads about science. After his mother's death, his first murderous experience occurred when he attended the University of Germany where he applied his new knowledge and created a human, (the monster) of enormous size and strength. When his creation is made and awakens Frankenstein, he is so horrified by his creation that he falls into an illness that lasts for months. While he is ill, the creature heads into the woods and purposely does what his intelligence tells him to do. Frankenstein returns home when he learns that his brother has been murdered and Justine, a friend of Frankenstein, is wrongly executed. Having been hated, rejected and feared by every human being he meets, he decides he wants to change. He asks Frankenstein to make him a friend but never wants to trade bread for humanity... middle of paper... he totally and utterly loves it. He also believes that the way to get rich is through reputation, when one should work hard. Willy is unsuccessful because of his wrong concept of getting rich. Setting the two apart, Willy dies a horrible death. Frankenstein and Willy both. They don't meet all the requirements of a traditional tragic hero. Possession of the tragic flaw ultimately defines them as modern tragic heroes. Victor is looking for his creation. On the other hand, Willy is trying to live the American dream through wrong means. Both have a key relationship in the story: Frankenstein is to the creature as Willy is to Biff. Willy and Frankenstein are both classified as tragic heroes because they both possess a tragic flaw. Willy craves the wrong dream, unlike Victor who goes too far in creating life.
