The director Gabriele Muccino directed the film The pursuit of happiness in 2006 and the film Seven Pounds in 2008. In both films he describes the life path of a man. The character Chris Gardner in The Pursuit of Happyness provides inspiration and motivation, as it characterizes him as having a more persevering, tolerable, and positive attitude towards life than the character Tim Thomas in Seven Pounds. Chris Gardner invests all his savings in an exceptionally foolish venture. which leads his family towards financial crisis. His wife cannot bear the constant financial pressure and decides to abandon him and their five-year-old son. He and his son are evicted from their home. They are forced to join other homeless people finding food and shelter if they are lucky enough to get in line early. He spends six months as an unpaid intern at a stock brokerage firm. After his insurmountable battle, he manages to get a full-time position among twenty interns. In the last years of his life he becomes a successful businessman and establishes his own multi-million dollar brokerage firm. Tim Thomas was in a car accident that killed six strangers and his wife. The reason for the accident was that he was carelessly sending a text message while driving the car. He is unable to live with what he has done. He decides to save the lives of seven good people by donating his organ. He makes a list of people and steals his brother's IRS credentials to determine whether people are good or not. Donate your lung lobe, kidney, part of your liver and bone marrow to strangers to save their lives. He decides to end his life, in order to donate his eye and his heart. To preserve his organ he commits suicide in the bathtub which...... middle of paper...... part of the film, showed that during the bone marrow transfer operation he did not even receive the anesthesia, so that he can redeem himself from his mistake. However, it is not practical. His character can give negative impressions to anyone. The accident occurred due to him texting while driving. This way, it can make its atonement by motivating people not to text while driving. It can diffuse the impact of texting while driving. However, by not doing so, he embraces the wrong path in his life. It destroys his life, which reflects his unique kind of madness. To summarize, to compare him to Tim Thomas' character, Chris Gardner's character is a kind of role model in our lives. Chris Gardner gives us inspiration to achieve everything we want. It teaches us that perseverance and determination are the key to success in one's life.
