1.0 INTRODUCTION TO CAREER DEVELOPMENTCareer is a way to earn a living. Career is a profession followed like life. A plan chosen by a person to live throughout his life which is a career plan. A professional development plan is a path to future goals. The plan could be that any person (he/she) creates a list of his/her goals, achieves those goals and moves on the right path when trying to improve his/her career. Career plan could start before college, university, when you want to change career mid-life. Learning ability for specific business objectives in the year. The career development plan may just be a guideline. Current skills, abilities and education are very necessary to achieve the goal. The areas along your skills that need to be improved when you create a list of steps to achieve goals which can be formal or informal. Career plan always starts with age and knowledge. (c.reardon, 2012)Formal: formal steps for passing exams and certifications. Informal: Informal steps to finding your chosen career or meeting people for different purposes. The professional development plan gives you better motivation. A career development plan could be long or short but also necessary. One could be completed in one to five years. When we want to develop a career plan, we need these things to help us. 1.1.1 REQUIREMENTS FOR CAREER DEVELOPMENT: Develop an action plan Follow advice Learn the qualification Develop skills Gain experience Keep a record Develop an action plan: When we are able to develop a career, so let's act according to the plan.
