Country History AnalysisBrazil is not only one of the fastest growing economic markets in the world, but also has a rich sporting history. Football has dominated the country as the most popular sport for a long time. So much so that many companies close down hours before national matches to allow their employees to prepare for their team's match (Brazil.org). Other popular sports in Brazil are martial arts, footvolley (a combination of football and volleyball), tennis, basketball, motor sports, volleyball and rugby. Brazilians are hungry for sport. In the summer of 2014, the FIFA World Cup will be held in Brazil, the second time ever to host the tournament.-GeographyBrazil is located in the eastern part of South America, bordering the Atlantic Ocean. It is the largest country in South America and borders all South American countries except Chile and Ecuador. Brazil has a predominantly tropical climate, however, there is... half of the paper... is accessible from several places. As research shows, the roads are not the best. However, with the renovation of major highways, traveling by car will become much easier in the future. Ideally, the academy would attract talent from across Brazil, so access to highway systems and an airport would be needed. However, the financial situation in Brazil is unevenly distributed. Although income inequality in Brazil has decreased slightly over the past fourteen years, Brazil still remains one of the most unequal countries in the world (Siegelbaum, 2013). The country's richest ten percent earn 40% of the national income, and most of these richest people live in urbanized areas. This leaves the rural population at a much higher level of poverty. To overcome this obstacle, the baseball academy will need to be accessible to people of all economic backgrounds.
