IntroductionFor many hundreds of years, bed sores have been recognized clinically. Throughout this time, various pedagogies have been explained to prevent patients from developing pressure sores (RJG Halfens & M. Eggink 1995). Furthermore, less is known about the effectiveness of these methods. Based on this observation, the author decided to summarize the basic measures to prevent bedsores among high-risk individuals in a nursing home. Research Strategies The research strategies to be used to complete this essay will first be choosing a certain topic from the list of action plan presented. The author will select the topic Basic Nursing Care in Pressure Sore Prevention as a learning need to meet the placement demands. Key words such as “nursing care”, “bedsore”, “bedsore” and “prevention” should be highlighted. Appropriate databases will be determined. For this topic PubMed, CINAHL Plus. Google Scholar would be suitable. The possibility of finding other information sources such as randomized trials, review studies and guidelines is highly anticipated, until sufficient data are collected. This documentation will place significant limits on database searches, in this case the Boolean operators “and”, “a”, and “or”. Truncation of the words “nurse” and “care” will also be an option. For the entire essay the English language will be used. Pressure sores have disrupted the nursing profession for many years as a major health inconvenience in terms of patient suffering (Wurster 2007). Also called pressure ulcers or bed sores, they contribute to a major problem in hospitals, but also in nursing homes. Pressure sores can appear in areas of the skin that are directly subjected to pressure sore prevention methods in Dutch hospitals.
