The 1980s were probably the decade of the most popular and memorable films. They are the types of films we now call “classics” and “originals.” These films influenced the ones we watch today in many ways, from filmmaking techniques to sequels. They have entertained us from the times until today. There were many films made in the 1980s that are still remembered today. Some of the many films made in the 1980s that are still remembered and watched today are… #10. Pretty in Pink, #9. The Karate Kid, #8. Star Wars, n.7. Sixteen candles, n. 6. The Empire Strikes Back, n.5. Batman, no. 4. The breakfast club, n. 3. Back to the Future, n.2. The Goonies, #1. Extraterrestrial. They all have something special and that's why we still watch them today. It could be the costumes, the plot, the characters, the setting, the story or even the actors. They are one of a kind films, so great that people still copy them today and make different versions of them. Movie stars of the '80s were very different then than they are today. They spoke differently, dressed differently and behaved differently. Some great movie stars of the 80s were Corey Feldman in The Goonies, Emilio Estevez in Breakfast Club, James Spader in Pretty in Pink, Judd Nelson in The Breakfast Club and last but not least, Molly Ringwald, the star of my two movies plus 80s favorites, Pretty in Pink and Sixteen Candles. In 1978, Molly was cast as Kate in the film Annie. She then began to pursue films and was nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in the 1982 film The Tempest. He then watched his major film Sixteen Candles. Ringwald then appeared in numerous 1980s films, including The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink, Sixteen Can... middle of paper... and films originally made in the 1980s. Films like Batman and Star-Wars are just 2 examples of films that have been made into different versions. For example, The Dark Knight Rises was a film released in 2012 almost 30 years after the original Batman. Another example is the Star-Wars movie which was made into a movie in 2010. The Karate Kid is another example because the original movie came out in 1984, but recently in 2010 they made a new movie with Jaden Smith. These are all examples of how the great films of the 80s have been copied and transformed into different versions in recent years. In conclusion, 80's movies were one of a kind because they have special little things and how audiences appreciated them that not all other decades did. The films and film technology of the 1980s will live on and entertain generations to come.
