Love means different things to different people. Depending on the individual to whom the question is asked; the answer would be decidedly different. According to the dictionary, Love could mean an intense feeling of deep affection, or it could be a deep romantic or sexual attachment. But in the end, love always has something to do with feelings. Love comes in different shapes and sizes. A person may love a dog, another human being, or a property he or she owns. Also there is a saying that love makes a person do stupid things, which is completely true. When two people are in love, they do everything possible in their power to please the other person in the relationship, even if it means that one person in the relationship is hurting themselves. Love truly has no age limit. At an early age, children learn to love their toys, parents and pets, if they have any. From this stage, they not only learn to love, but also learn to hate. In this case, children have the opportunity to choose what they want to associate with. This leads to the fact that where there is love there is hate, both go together. Love, as it participates in family in America, could mean different things. Sometimes love in American families could mean money. Many people get married and “fall in love” with another person simply because perhaps that person has some kind of money or something of value. And other times, people get married because they really love each other. Both individuals involved in the marriage might be broke and both poor, but since they love each other, they would be willing to fight all the obstacles in their path together. Also there have been situations where the... middle of the paper... mind thinks that it will buy jewelry to try to show how much love it has for the other person. So for my mother, jewelry is not something that is also associated with love, but it would be appreciated if presented. But since my other two brothers and I were raised in the American tradition, we understood that jewelry makes women happy and is part of American customs, so to fit in, jewelry would be incorporated into how and what we buy our sweetheart half. We have a hard time showing love to each other simply because Nigeria's culture doesn't really present people with the personality type to go out of their way to show another person that love is there. We all know that we love and support each other in every aspect and every decision someone has to make in life.
