Taj Mahal is known to be a symbol of love, Taj Mahal was built for his third wife (Mumtaz Mahal) who he loved the most. It is known to be a UNESCO world heritage site and famous for its landmark. The Taj Mahal is referred to as the "crown of the palace". The Taj Mahal is known to be one of the seven wonders of the world which has now been changed to the eight wonders as one was included. The Taj Mahal is located on the bank of the Yamuna River, in the heart of the city of Agra. The beauty of the marble of the Taj Mahal is due to a slight reflection during the day and night of the different colors of the marble. Overall, the Taj Mahal reflects on the river water and looks phenomenal because it reflects as if it were an image. It also glows through the reflection of the full moon's light. It is also seen for its architectural beauty, the monument is considered the most beautiful built by the Mughals, "the Muslim rulers of India". Features: • The Taj Mahal was built in a period of 22 years • Employing 20 thousand workers • It was completed in the year “1648 AD” • The Taj is built on a high “square platform of 186 x 186 feet” • 2 mosques are built on symmetrical sides • It is built so that it can be protected from earthquakes • The king was buried in the Taj Mahal in the center.
