On the other hand, alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma (ARMS) typically affects all age groups equally, but is the most common type in older children and adolescents. (American Cancer Society) Some important risk factors that may affect adults more than children are the lifestyle the adult follows, including drug use, extreme overweight, and lack of exercise.
