Generally, when people think of monsters, all they think of are scaly monsters, or hairy monsters, or just big, fat, scary monsters. But actually spending some time with said monsters begins to uncover a greater meaning to these monsters. You see, a monster isn't simply created off the top of someone's head, but it's actually thought out about what features it will include. For example, creators of horror movie monsters need to think about things like what audience they are making this monster for or what kind of characteristics the monster will need to have to scare this audience. For some examples think about the zombie you think is dead. the body was born for the brain, but if you put the image of a zombie in the mind of a theorist, it goes much further. For a theorist it could be a person who was once alive and wonders what they were like when they were alive. Thinking along the lines of zombies, they are known as reanimated monsters as they were once dead and in a sense brought back to life other monsters like this include mummies and even Frankenstein's monster.
