CQR incorporates the elements of the phenomenological approach, grounded theory and comprehensive process analysis. Consensual qualitative research has a number of essential components. First, it includes the implication of open-ended questions in semi-structured data collection techniques, which allow for consistent data collection across individuals and in-depth examination of their experiences (Hill, 2012). Second, it involves multiple judges throughout the data analysis process to foster numerous perspectives.
