Distortion in Brave New WorldDistortion is an image of a thought or idea that appears to have a single effect on a society, but actually provides a totally different one. Often, in order for readers to understand the realism of today's society and the point the author is trying to make in presenting its flaws, the writer must distort reality. In this way he urges the reader to engage in a deep thought process that forces him to realize the reality of a situation, rather than perceiving it as good or bad based on individuals' dilutions. In his novel Brave New World, Aldous Huxley uses the dystopia of tomorrow and distorts it by creating a utopian face.
