I, Likhitha, have been fascinated by the advancements in technology and innovations. Since my school days, I have been inclined towards problem solving; this led me to opt for sciences: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in my higher education. Gradually I came across one of the most ingenious human innovations: the computer. I soon became attracted to the fact that it has an important role to play in the contemporary world. My interest in them pushed me to learn language packages such as C, C++, J2SE, and advanced Java, and also to take courses in Oracle, MySQL, HTML, and MATLAB. Coming from a family with both parents coming from a teaching fraternity, I was continuously motivated and encouraged to take up education with full fervor and enthusiasm. Thanks to such favorable and promising conditions, I was able to complete my school education with utmost zeal and assiduous commitment. I had the opportunity to learn the basics of HTML, Ms Office etc. This opened the first step towards creating my interest in the field of computer science. After high school, I got admitted to Kasireddy Narayan Reddy College of Engineering & Research, Andhra Pradesh, India, one of the reputed colleges of the state. The excellent faculty and facilities provided a solid foundation, which is why I was able to get my B.Tech in first class. During these four years I have acquired knowledge on various topics such as computer networks, database management systems, object-oriented programming language, advanced data structure, distributed databases. Now I feel the need to expand my knowledge on these topics and further improve my skills in topics such as DBMS and Networking. So, I would like to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Science from your esteemed university. The...... middle of paper...... Furthermore, I am confident that the education I will receive will help me throughout my career. It is popularly said "Small drops make the mighty ocean". But what happens if a drop is removed from the ocean? Quantitatively it may not affect the mighty ocean, but qualitatively the ocean lacks that drop which was unique in its own way. Likewise my association with your revered University would be quantitatively analogous to that of a small drop in a mighty ocean, but can contribute qualitatively.
