Clinton led the United States to one of the highest levels in economic history. Clinton would be considered a “charismatic leader.” There are many aspects that demonstrate that he possesses charismatic leadership. As a charismatic leader, he has the ability to inspire his followers to reach their full potential. History itself has proven that he was a great charismatic leader. When Clinton took over from George HW Bush, he acted immediately and introduced the North American Free Trade Act and some welfare laws. Even after his presidency he created the Clinton Foundation to help serve the community. Clinton himself produces a great deal of energy and confidence. According to the textbook, self-confidence is an important characteristic of being a charismatic leader. Clinton believes that whatever he did was for the righteousness of the general public. Clinton's self-confidence allows his followers to believe in his work. From the beginning of his presidency, he was passionately committed to delivering what he promised. Clinton has excellent communication skills. He was able to persuade his ways in favor of various laws and for people to support him. His words were able to boost the morale of his followers. He would be considered one of the top 10 presidents in history for charismatic leadership. Of course, leadership cannot always be successful, as a result Clinton has a 0.8 rate for increasing overall charisma. Compared to Roosevelt's No. 1-ranked charismatic leader, Clinton has already done really well. His followers today would like him to return as president, if possible.
