I have taken many accounting courses that have given me a solid foundation on which to develop my accounting knowledge. I believe the best way to do this is through experience. I will be able to gain experience when I start my internship. I gained some accounting experience working at my parents' company. I recorded receipts, recorded purchases, used QuickBooks, completed payroll, and completed bank reconciliations. I will also be able to build on this foundation when I start networking with people who have been working as accountants for years. I want to learn so I can grow as an accountant. I want to strive to be the best I can
